Love Notes

Today I watched an older monster carefully pick the biggest flower from their garden.

I wondered who it was for.

As they walked away, they stopped beside a mailbox and quietly tucked the flower inside for the mail carrier.

No special occasion.

No birthday.

Just because someone deserved a little brightness during their day.

Love has a wonderful habit of showing up when nobody expects it.

Maybe today you’ll be someone’s unexpected kindness.

With love,

— Maggie Heart ❤️

Love Notes

Today I watched someone stop to tie another person’s untied shoe.

It only took a few seconds.

No one clapped.

No one even noticed.

But I did.

Love isn’t always grand gestures or sweeping romances.

Sometimes love looks like helping without being asked.

Sometimes it sounds like,

“Drive home safely.”

Or,

“I saved you the last cookie.”

The smallest acts of kindness often leave the biggest imprint on someone’s heart.

Keep looking for them.

They’re everywhere.

With love,

— Maggie Heart ❤️

Love Notes

Today I noticed someone carrying far more than they could manage.

Before they could even ask for help, another person quietly picked up the heaviest bag and walked beside them.

No speeches.

No praise.

Just, “I’ve got this one.”

Love often arrives before the words “Can you help?” are ever spoken.

It listens.

It notices.

It chooses to lighten someone else’s load.

If you have the chance to make someone’s day a little easier…

Take it.

With love,

— Maggie Heart ❤️

I wrote three little encouragement cards today.

None of them were for a special occasion.

One simply said,

“I’m glad you’re here.”

Another reminded someone that kindness never goes unnoticed.

The last one was tucked into an envelope with no name at all.

Sometimes love doesn’t need recognition.

Sometimes it’s enough just knowing someone smiled because of something you left behind.

I hope whoever finds that last card feels a little lighter.

Love has a funny way of traveling farther than we expect.

I think that’s my favorite part.

With love,

— Maggie Heart ❤️

Today reminded me that love has a funny way of showing up.

Not always in grand gestures or picture-perfect moments, but in the smallest choices we make every day. Holding the door for someone. Leaving a thoughtful note. Smiling at a stranger. Checking in on a friend just because they crossed your mind.

Those tiny moments may seem ordinary, but I think they’re where love feels most at home.

This afternoon I spent some time writing down new ideas for Valentine’s season. I know February feels far away, but love doesn’t keep a calendar. It’s something we get to practice every day of the year, and I never want to wait for a holiday to remind people of that.

I also organized a few of my favorite encouraging quotes into a notebook. Maybe one day they’ll find their way into surprise cards or little gifts for someone who needs a reminder that they matter.

My favorite thought of the day was this:

Kindness is one of the few things that grows when you give it away.

I hope tomorrow brings another chance to brighten someone’s day—even if it’s only with a smile.

With love,

❤️ Maggie Heart
